Guide Dry Treatment
Petzl’s Guide treatment is a weather-resistant core and sheath treatment that protects your rope from dirt, water and grime, and stops it from freezing. Guide treatment means your rope handles better and performs well, even in the worst conditions.
Petzl’s EverFlex Treatment is a thermal treatment that stabilises the core fibres of the rope, which improves its handling, grip and consistency throughout its life.
The Petzl Volta Guide 9.0mm has a middle mark. This means the mid-point of the rope is really clear and helps improve handling while belaying.

if you go on a single trip, for 1 time, big trip use, this is the rope, ( not as durable as thicker rope, for practice, ) the lightweight is fantastic, .( my 10.5 rope, is way heavy, carrying it for a hike, takes away half your energy to the crag already,) if you go for a long hike, you need this rope.
