Dynafit Ultra Light 3L Jacket Men
The Dynafit Ultra Light 3L Jacket is (you’ve guessed it) a featherlight men’s running jacket designed for ultra-marathons, alpine running and general trail running. While not technically a jacket, more of a long-zipped pullover, the Dynafit Ultra Light 3L Jacket is designed to provide the optimal combination of weight, packability, breathability and protection. This is all thanks to Dynafit’s Dyna-Shell three-layer fabric, which is highly waterproof and breathable, as well as super light, making this jacket easy to stuff into your pack and forget about until you really need it. Other useful features include elasticated cuffs for extra protection, perforated underarm ventilation and a smartphone pocket.

Dyna-shell is Dynafit’s premium weatherproof, breathable fabric, rated 20k / 20k. Similarly to Gore-Tex Active, it is completely waterproof and windproof, incredibly lightweight, super breathable and packs down very small, which makes it ideal for fast and light sports such as running, cycling, and speed mountaineering.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish has become almost ubiquitous in the outdoor industry, and the satisfying water beading it provides has become the hallmark of a beautiful jacket. It is not strictly waterproof but will provide protection on its own against a light shower; however it does wear off so needs to be topped up from time to time. The DWR stops water from soaking into the outer layer of waterproof fabrics like Gore-Tex meaning they remain breathable and light in even in heavy rain.
Taped seams are where the seams in a garment have been sealed with a special tape on the inside of the fabric, which prevents water leaking through via the stitching.
