Patagonia Simul Alpine Pants
Streamlined as a running belay, our new Simul Alpine Pants specialize in moving swiftly and confidently over rock, snow and ice. The lightweight polyester stretch-woven fabric moves, breathes and resists weather, while even stretchier fabric at the yoke and crotch gusset complement the technical cut. The waist has belt loops, a separating zip fly and our innovative OppoSet™ adjustable closure for an on-the-go customized fit. The hand, right rear and billowed right thigh pockets all close with zippers. A slender lower leg lets you see your feet, while the cuffs tighten with a shock cord and cord lock; tie-down loops allow you to attach an under-the-heel cord for use with ice boots.
New Navy colour has been added to the Simul Alpine Pants for the 2016 collection.

The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish has become almost ubiquitous in the outdoor industry, and the satisfying water beading it provides has become the hallmark of a beautiful jacket. It is not strictly waterproof but will provide protection on it’s own against a light shower; however it does wear off so needs to be topped up from time to time. The DWR stops water from soaking into the outer layer of waterproof fabrics like Gore-Tex meaning they remain breathable and light in even in heavy rain.

Really fast delivery, super price. I am 178 cm, 70 kg and size 32 fit perfect. I bought this pants for my trip to Iceland.
The usual Patagonia superb material and construction.
Very light for a bombproof pair of trousers and also very versatile, you could wear these for anything from alpine climbing to cycling into work as they also offer great freedom of movement.
