Edelrid Drone II

The Edelrid Drone II is a large, robust rope bag (up to 80m ropes) with climbing and beginner-friendly features designed to make your trip to the crag easier. The Edelrid Drone II features shoulder straps, so it can be carried alongside another smaller backpack, and a buckle closure system that's fully adjustable to fit smaller or larger load sizes. 4 tie-in points on tarp allow for better rope management, and an outer pocket stores valuables or climbing tools like tape, brushes, and chalk.

The Drone II also includes a safety checklist printed on the tarp, perfect for those just starting sport climbing and getting to grips with the process, or anyone who needs a quick reminder about proper technique. A great way to learn proper use whilst actually in the climbing environment.

Edelrid Drone II Rope bag Review

Very good rope bag that contains and compacts my 70 m long, 9.6 mm thick rope very well.

Has a good, easy to spread tarp with four tie points. Comfortable to wear as a backpack.

Little pocket at front fits a phone and a Gri-gri.

This is my second purchase of this rope bag as I liked my first one very much. I use my first one for my indoor rope.

For the 50 m rope, extra gear can be put in along with the rope (be careful doing this!).

First bag came with a route conversion card, which was a nice touch.
