This a no frill non locking carabiner. The shape is very nice and the "gate" makes a nice and loud click when it closes (so your belayer hears you've successfully put in the quick draw).
The carabiner is light and nice looking. One warning though - the gates on all 5 of these I bought were not silver but the same color as the rest of the carabiner. For me, that was a plus because the color is just splendid, but it might not suit your needs :)
In short: its a no brainier buy if you are looking to replace a part of your quick draws.
