Beal Phantom Harness

The Beal Phantom is a top-spec, minimal climbing harness built for high-level sport climbing, meaning it’s super-lightweight, compact and functional. The Beal Phantom Harness features well-placed laser-cut ventilation, which provides added breathability for intense training sessions, while it also utilises the latest version of Beal’s Web-Core Technology for the ultimate comfort and lowest weight. The wide leg loops and waistbelt help to provide even better weight distribution, while four gear loops and a rear ring make for extra versatility and functionality without adding to the weight.

Beal Web-Core Technology

Beal’s Web-Core Technology uses two separate pieces of webbing to make the adjustable waistbelt of the harness, and those webbing pieces are then bar-tacked to either side of a laser-cut, ventilated, wider piece of webbing. This construction method provides exceptional comfort, as well as reducing the cost, bulk and weight of the harness.

Lightweight and Compact

Stiff gear loops and a lightweight harness.

My only issues is that the belay loop is a bit smaller than I would have liked. but it should not be too much of an issue

Buy it

This is an unreal harness, super light and comfortable. The gearloops are good for sport..
The only small issue is getting the waist strap undone can be a little tough.. especially when pumped :) and some minor early fraying/wear around the belay/tie in loops, could be from me squeezing into cracks though. but seriously, buy this harness, the value for money is unbeatable.
