Beal Verdon II 9 mm Golden Dry
One of Beal's classic half ropes with a diameter that balances durability and performance and a full weather resistance suited to all types of climbing and high mountain use. The Beal Verdon II 9 mm Golden Dry features a high number of factor 1.77 falls, a low impact force appropriate for trad gear, and a Golden Dry treatment to fully protect the rope from absorbing water and snow in alpine environments.

• Resistance to abrasion and edges
• Low shock force & very high number of falls
• Thermo Fluid treatment makes the rope more compact and easy to handle
A water-repellent treatment that's applied to both the rope's core and its sheath. This makes the rope highly resistant to water absorption and prevents the penetration of harmful dust dirt and dust particles into the rope's fibres. Golden Dry ropes are ideal for use in all weather conditions, including ice and snow, where they will absorb the minimum amount of moisture, and they will last through much harsher abuse that non-treated ropes.
1 Rope 1 Tree
Beal takes their environmental responsibility seriously. They divide their efforts between two main approaches. Firstly, Beal run an exceptional programme, in which they plant a tree for every single dynamic rope purchased. They’ve been doing this since 2007 and have no plans to stop! Secondly, Beal organises the recycling of ropes when they reach the end of their life. Every Beal rope is recyclable, and anyone can send their used Beal rope to one of their recycling departments, where they are broken down and reused. Top work Beal!
