The G22 is the dual point version of Grivel's G20 crampon designed for technical mountaineering. The front points are both removable, allowing you to use them in both mono- and bi-point configurations as well as allowing you to replace the points when they become worn. In the same spirit as the G20, the G22 features Grivel's patented Monorail technology, which helps to distribute weight over the points evenly. It is incredibly light for a technical crampon - only 1170g - and it also includes a set of alternative centre 'Twin Bars', designed to cope with modern boots that have a large hollow in the instep. Comes equipped with Antibott plates to prevent stop snow and ice clogging up the underside of the crampon.

Semi-step in with Grivel's excellent plastic toe cap. These are simple to put on and there is a tiny bit more margin for error than with the Crampomatic, thus they can be used on slightly more flexible boots.
Full step-in with wire front bale. Quick to put on in a blizzard but you do have to get them on just right - rigid boots only. They are the most rigid option so ideal for more technical routes.
