SO ILL Street LV Climbing Shoe
If you find it difficult getting performance climbing shoes in lower volumes, The Street LV will provide a tighter fit for those with a more narrow foot width, male or female. This is So iLL's most aggressive and softest shoe in their line, and the LV version features a brand new colour scheme. It has the same ultra-thin midsole as The Street, which gives it a high level of sensitivity for anything from glassy boulder problems to tiny screw-ons in the gym. The synthetic upper won't stretch, so The Street LV will keep its same performance fit over its entire lifespan. So iLL are all about fashion and function, so if you're a climber who doesn't mind wearing something a little different, and you're looking for a low volume bouldering shoe, The Street LV is a high quality shoe with premium materials and a unique design.

Dark Matter Rubber
Dark Matter Rubber was originally formulated for the US Navy Seals, who required a rubber compound that would reliably get them out of un-sticky situations. So iLL acquired the compound and adapted it for their climbing shoes, calling it Dark Matter Rubber. It's the world's first coloured rubber to retain all of its friction and grip properties.
I'm very lucky because I think I just found my favourite climbing shoe. I wasn't sure if it will be any good, I just ordered it because they look awesome, but after having my fourth pair in use already I'm 100% addicted. It's quite an aggressive shoe with a narrow heel and rubber on the right places. Perfect for heels, toes edging AND even smearing... I know right Whaaat?! Yeah for me this shoe does both, which I never had before - was always climbing with a stiff and a soft pair. The rubber is really really good and you can - after breaking them in - stand on the smallest holds (indoors & outdoors). Bought my first pair in the recommended size and same ever since (street shoe size 7.5 / bought 8.5). The two straps are solid and making the shoe even better fit ...AND they look so pretty ;)
