Scarpa Drago LV Climbing Shoe

The Drago is most well known for winning comps and sending the worlds hardest routes and boulders and now it comes in a long-awaited Low Volume version. It still has all of the features that everyone knows and loves about the Drago but now with a narrower toe box, tighter instep and tighter heel, making them perfect for people with thinner lower volume feet. The Drago LV features the incredibly sticky Vibram® XS Grip 2 which is perfect for standing on volumes, slippery polished edges and smears which is one of the many reasons you see this shoe on the World Cup circuit so often. The Flexan 1.0 midsole in the Drago LV also helps to make this shoe a climbing beast, it is stiff enough to stand on small edges but soft enough for comp style boulders with slippery slopy holds and volumes. Lots of steep boulders and routes involve tenuous toe and heel hooks but luckily the Drago LV is no stranger to toe hooking thanks to a huge piece of incredibly sticky M50 rubber across the toe gives you maximum rubber contact-making even the most tenuous toe hooks easy, and don't worry if you prefer heel hooking, because the Drago LV has you covered there to, it has a PAF heel system which gives you a proved fit and incredible heel hooking performance. All of these features create the ultimate competition, bouldering and sport climbing weapon now in a lower volume!

A narrow heel cup is a big help

I usually wear dragos.
But the heel cup was a little loose.
LV has overcome that shortcoming.
I am very satisfied.

Excellent, soft, sensitive shoe

There's a reason you see everyone at the gym wearing these

SG review

Delivery came within a week super satisfied. Previous shoes were tenaya iatis. I have a very slim and flat foot and i went about 1 size down. Literally fits like a glove/sock. Think h can use other websites or forums to find the perfect size for u

Running small

I have bunions. I ordered a size 7 because I used a size 7 on my Scarpa Vapour Vs from 3-4 years ago, but when it arrived it would NOT fit. I put them on under awful pain. I am surprised that I needed to go up to my street size. I returned them paying the fee (it was only ~£3.50 sending within England) and they are sending a full size up back to me to give it a second go. Happy with customer service and shoes exchange/return so far. Will update the review once I shoes arrive and hopefully fit!

Fantastic for super LV feet.

I just wore out the upper in my last pair of these after about a year and didn't hesitate to order another pair. Just like the standard drago, this shoe is a beast and amazing for almost any style of climbing gym or crag. My only dislike is how fast they wear. They last longer than a solution, but the short peak life was noticeable after a couple of months.
