La Sportiva Solution Comp Women's Climbing Shoe
The Solution Comp Women is a competition, indoor version of the classic and much loved Solution Women's. even though the Solution Comp is made for competition climbing and climbing on plastic that doesn't mean it doesn't excel on rock. The Solution Comp has a thinner heel than the Solution, making it more sensitive perfect for heel hooking tiny holds where it's essential to be able to feel what your heel hooking. A 0.9 mm laspo flex midsole supports your foot for standing on small edges but it also has enough flex for smearing, making it a great shoe for bouldering and sport climbing indoors and out. The Solution Comp also excels at toe hooking, it has loads of rubber covering most of the toe area, even more than the Solution, making toe hooking a delight. And of course, the Solution Comp has La Sportiva's famous P3 system, this keeps the shape of the shoe throughout its life, giving you great performance until you have to retire them.
(The difference between the Men's Solution Comp and the women's Solution Comp is the women's one is a little softer because it is designed for lighter climbers)

Lapotiva Solution Comp Woman
Size: 39 (Sneakers 260mm)
Motivation: The project route is slippery when it rains, so it is very slippery and the foothold part is small
I switched from Solution to Solution Comp for finer and more detailed climbing.
Fit: Compared to the previous solution, the edge of the heel part of the comp is more alive and
The outsole feels a bit firmer.
When I wear them, the ball of my feet is wide, so they go in a little tight, but my feet feel comfortable after wearing them.
After wearing it, lift your heel and press the heel cup once to wrap your foot without feeling lifted.
Strong edging is felt on the fine foothold and provides a sense of stability.
I never actually slipped my feet while climbing.
Although the heel didn't fit me well (I think I have very narrow heel), it's really great shoe. VERSATILE One with nice colors. I love the pointy toes which are good at standing on tiny foot holds. - But it's not comfortable.
For reference I have previously worn the Miura VS and Otaki (women's). I wear these in the same size. Could possibly have gone down half a size but they would have been difficult to get my feet into! I got these shoes because I was looking for something softer/more sensitive for climbing on limestone. They have not disappointed! Wore in very quickly bouldering in the gym, where they performed well, but they really shine outdoors on vertical to overhanging routes. Super confidence inspiring on small or smeary footholds - they stick to anything. I haven't tried them on long routes yet (only about 20m) so can't comment on foot tiredness etc. I expect I'll stick to my Otakis for any multi pitch climbing for extra foot support. But for shorter, hard routes these are my new go to.
First more "agressive"shoes that I get, I needed good shoes for better toe hook friction and stability. I love them, they fit very well my long narrow feet as well.
