La Sportiva Katana Laces Climbing Shoe
The La Sportiva Katana Lace is an ideal climbing shoe for intermediate climbers who want to push their limits in bouldering, gym climbing, overhanging sport climbing, and technical face climbing. The La Sportiva Katana Lace is exactly the same as the La Sportiva Katana VCS except that it features laces to give you a super precise fit. The powerful performance comes from a slightly down-turned asymmetrical shape that keeps your foot flat, and the La Sportiva's P3 technology provides plenty of support and power transfer to your toes for serious edging performance. The Katana Lace is a comfortable all-round rock shoe that will perform well on anything you throw at it. All La Sportiva climbing shoes are displayed in European sizes.

Vibram XS Edge Rubber
Developed for maximum support, Vibram XS Edge rubber allows you to focus your weight on the tiniest of holds. Thanks to improved plastic deformation resistance, XS Edge keeps its shape through hours of repeated abuse, in hot or cold weather. Great for use in conditions where secure edging is paramount, it provides the best balance of performance and durability.
La Sportiva P3 Technology
P3 permanent power platform is a rand developed by La Sportiva which is used in aggressive climbing shoes to help them maintain their down-turned shape for the duration of their life.
La Sportiva Katana Lace Review
"The slightly down turned toe and subtle asymmetry of the Katana Lace will allow climbers to hook into pockets and hold edges in absolute comfort. This shoe keeps your foot in a relatively flat position, which is great for cracks and comfort. The heel is snug, and combined with the P3 rand it feels like the weight of your entire body is being focused very precisely through the toe. In the world of rubber snobbery, Vibram's XS Edge soles hold their own, and pretty much anything else they touch. The Katana Lace is a workhorse, not a show horse. These climbing shoes are amazing. I only have climbed with them once because they still hurt quite a lot so I am using them at home to watch tv series and get used to them. My girlfriend loves to play footsie while I have them because they are really soft on the outside. Great!!
Despite is quite asimetric shoe is comfortable and it perfectly adapt to your foot. It's very precise and is suitable for almost every kind of climbing.
PD. EpicTV has great client service. It's nice to recieve some grateful handwritting :)
Great service from EpicTV as usual! Shoes are great, bought 1 Eu size smaller than street shoe. Very tight in the beginning, but after a few climbing days they have expanded to fit perfectly! :)
The last pair of climbing shoes did not fit my heal really well and a soon as i got this pair i rushed to the gym and healed hook every thing that i could. They fit well and are grate on the wall but i will not call them comfortable ( i was expecting this ).
The price is really good, they arrived in less then a week and the receipt was signed by hand with a "thank you" in my language :).
