FluxRing

Jetboil’s secret weapon, the FluxRing, is what ensures your Jetboil cup heats up quickly and efficiently, without heat escaping. The most efficient way to heat liquid is in a flat-bottomed pan with a high surface area; as this is pretty impractical when you’re camping, Jetboil created the FluxRing, a corrugated aluminium spring-like cylinder attached around the circumference of the base of their cooking pots. This absorbs excess heat and transfers it back to the cooking pot, meaning it heats up exceptionally quickly.

Best burner I have used so far.

The Jetboil is a fantastic piece of gear and I would totally recommend it for all the "standard-review" reasons. Having said that, I'll just skip to some critical details I stumbled upon while using it: The metal rod which controls the gas got displaced (by default it is twisted into position). It does not affect functionality, but it is slightly annoying.
Though it may be obvious to some, the JetBoil recipient cannot be used directly for cooking (e.g. pasta). The heat will almost instantly burn whatever food sits on the bottom, and cleaning becomes an issue. Instead, the boiled water should be poured in some alternative cooking pot (or instant-pasta package).
Also, the JetBoil is not 100% wind-effective, and a strong breeze may put the flame off. However, it outperforms by far any other burner I have used, in this respect.
To conclude, I would not change anything in it's design, but it is good to be aware of what the JetBoil is good for, and it's limits.
