La Sportiva TX2

What a shoe! Light enough to make the approach feel comfortable but also sticky enough to do moderate climbing.

I love the way they lash together and clip to the harness in one piece. Took about 4-5 wears to break in and then they felt brilliant.

I typically have a 9UK but got these in a 9.5 and they fit well. So they size a little small.

TX2 Vs TX4

these are a nice, very lightweight approach shoe. they are easily a half size smaller fit compared with the TX4. they take a long while to break in, and they just aren't quite as comfortable as the TX4. on technical terrain i have started to revert to my very old ten tennies as the rubber sticks better even though the fit isn't as full around the foot. these are great for shorter approaches and when they are to be carried as they are so light. they'd get four stars if i had upsized by a half size. Go the TX4!
