Petzl Micro Traxion
The Petzl Micro Traxion is a miniature hero of a pulley device for crevasse rescue, for emergency ascending, during hauling or for use during self-rescue. The Petzl Micro Traxion is ultra-compact as well as ultra-light, but makes no compromises with also being ultra-efficient (91%) due to it's sealed ball bearings. Not only does it excel as a progress capture pulley, but its versatility means it can be used as a simple pulley when locked in the open position and used even when the rope has succumbed to mud or snow. It's also super easy to use given it's 'how-to' illustrated inside the pulley, incase you aren't sure. As a piece of gear, it's pretty small, but definitely mighty.
