Climbing Technology Anchor Cams Sizes 1 - 5
The Climbing Technology Anchor Cams are light alloy single axle, flexible stem, camming units or 'Friends'. Here they come in small to medium size set of 5 pieces (sizes 1-5).
Hot forged, lightweight and extremely robust cams with a classic 4 lobe design. The aluminium cam lobes spread the load, have grooved surfaces or increased holding power and give a good expansion range. The stem is a flexible single steel cable centred on the axle with a durable plastic cover to protect the stem and presewn Dyneema single sling from abrasion and forms an ergonomic thumb press. Long triggers allow for deeper placements and less finger shredding when setting and are very snug to the stem to make them less prone to tangle. They feature cam stops to allow them to be placed “passively,” useful if a cam wiggles out of its intended placement. Colour coded anodized cam and webbing stripes allow easy size location at a glance from your rack.
The cams cover an expansion range covering placements sizes of 17mm-70mm. Even if these aren't your first choice they make an awesome double up set at an incredible price and weight.
